Theoretically speaking, MBA is not a generalized degree as you attempted to make it; if taught rightly it is by all standards a complete professional degree. In fact, business schools like HOWARD have proven this fact by churning out business students who transformed management techniques and raised efficiency level sharply. Instead of taking it as a degree to supplement the already gotten degrees people should pursue only MBA, either accredited online MBA schools or regular MBA degree, thinking it as a separate and entirely professional degree. If we all do so, only then right business leaders will emerge and only then sweeping management changes will occur.
