Limited lunch lament

There's been a glut of 'lunch' research recently. Is this something to do with the fact the journalists and PR bods who used to gouge themselves on corporate freebies are feeling the pinch a bit these days? [Cynic - ed]

According to Office Angels, well over three-quarters of UK office workers take less than an hour for lunch each day with the average midday bite amounting to 21 minutes. Big deal! We reckon this is a typical summer PR puff story.

But on Wednesday (June 25), the Public and Commercial Services Union held a 'wake for the lunch break' on London's Victoria Embankment Gardens. Now this was guaranteed to attract attention because it included FREE FOOD (as well as a live Caribbean steel band and street entertainers).
