More than a third of CIO's and IT Mangers in the USA say that losing email for a week is more traumatic than marriage, divorce or having a car accident.

In fact, more than two thirds of all companies participating in a study commisioned by Veritas Software reported that users get irate when email access is unavailable for as little as 30 minutes. And a fifth of IT Managers say that their jobs would be on the line if their company email went down for 24 hours.
