Senior business leaders have a new device to help reduce the risk of kidnapping, according to a story that appeared in the Times earlier this year.

Mobile phones equipped with a satellite navigation module can pinpoint an individual's location and send an alert to a security company while using an ultra-sensitive microphone to transmit what is being said around them.
