Australians want better career development

Australian employers say that a lack of career development opportunities is the main reason they are unable to retain staff. More tha four out of ten employers surveyed nominated poor career opportunities as the main reason for staff losses.

The finding strongly echoes the sentiments uncovered by this week's Penna survey of employee attitudes in the UK.
