Up the career ladder

Growing numbers of stressed professionals are stepping off the career ladder to become window cleaners, according to the Daily Telegraph.

While most white-collar professionals making the switch take a drop in earnings, a national shortage of residential window cleaners means that those prepared to work for themselves and use a bit of elbow grease can earn up to £50,000.
